Using time travel technology, Professor Edward Johnston got trapped in Dordogne, France in the year 1357. Finding a note at an archeological dig asking for help in 1999 written in English along with a modern day part of a pair of glasses, led researchers to learn of Johnston’s trip back. They also travelled back to 1357 with a small security team. However, the security team was massacred upon arrival and the mechanism for their return destroyed. The researchers were put into further danger and medieval intrigue. Matters were further complicated when it was discovered there was another time traveler in the past with them who had been driven insane. (Timeline, Bk)
