HEEEERE'S MY INQUISITOR EDWIN CADASH!!! finally drew him in a quality that i was fine with posting 😭 and yes he's holding dorian one-handed

he never really stops wearing the carta uniform---just takes the hood off of one and recolors it. he can't stand wearing armor that's any heavier because he feels like it restricts his movement as a rogue! and (to a lesser extent but. still importantly) he likes making people double take when they see his style of armor

he struggles with the distance between himself and dorian post-trespasser, but luckily by this point they've arranged semi-frequent visits

some sketches from the last couple of days(???) i've made edwin cadash and mullein lavellan in dragon's dogma 2 . hearing mullein speak every five minutes is peak gameplay i highly recommend it. mullein is @mageknife's btw go see my friend......

so imagine a dwarf inquisitor with me. okay good now make him korean. dont worry about dwarven ethnicity i've just decided that there's koreans down there. okay this part's important now make sure he's fat and hairy and has dai harding's hairstyle. he's a dual-wield rogue. yes i know he's beefy enough to be a warrior just stay open-minded with me. so as a dwarf he obviously doesn't care overmuch for the chantry right. not for the reason you think though, his family's actually from haven because his mother converted to andrastianism as a young woman. yeah that haven. he's still an ex-carta agent, he fell in with the wrong crowd when he got sick of the chantry shunning him and his family despite even his mother's devoutness. he's an eldest child and loves his siblings but can't go home out of shame so he only sends money when he can. he's not even a very good carta agent. he's good at taking orders and being a cog in a machine until he's outright abused and talks back. so the carta's looking for an excuse to cut him loose for years.

then he gets caught up in the mess at the conclave and the carta fucks off and he begs josephine to help him protect his family in case the carta blackmails him. a guy who is much more comfortable following than leading is forced to be the inquisitor but because he's BEEN the little guy all his life he makes choices that protect them and respect their autonomy so the footsoldiers love him. so he can't possibly leave. he has a degree of charm too, so a lot of the nobility tolerate him so long as he's sweet-talked them a bit. oh but that charm only lasts through interactions he's used to. he can kiss up to people of high rank but he can't flirt for the life of him. at least on purpose. he ends up head over ass for dorian pavus. he adopts a cat to live at skyhold and just names her cat until dorian gets sick of it and names her sparrow. he's the one who drinks from the pool of sorrows which i actually totally forgot about don't worry about it. his name is edwin cadash
