🐾 Typical drop is between 0-5! Tends towards babyspace because it's the safest for him, but on good days sometimes he can go as big as 6!
🐾 Perma-regressor, whether he realizes it or not. Most of the time he's in a preteen headspace, but when he drops properly he goes into the 0-5 range.
🐾 Primary caregivers are his family & assorted Stark lords and bannermen, Ser Jeor (and Ser Jorah, upon their introduction), Maester Aemon (his peepaw!), Mance Rayder, Stannis & Davos, and assorted wildling/crow friends. Satin and Sam also babysit when the babe has a sudden drop, and always enjoy hanging out with the little guy.
🐾 Jon's favorite stuffie is a plush bear he's had since childhood named Woodfoot. I picture him with a 90s Russ Berrie & Co. Great Grizzly in mind, both in modern AUs and in canon. In canon I think it was likely a gift from Lord Eddard when he was a babe, or perhaps even something his mother had made or commissioned for him when she was with child.
🐾 Jon's autistic and this impacts his regression really hard! He has a lot of sensory aversions with things like food and clothing and weather, and it can be really tough on him. Bad feeling days usually lead to him dropping, but there's almost always someone around to help him take care of the baby. Stavos are best at understanding and accommodating Jon's regression in that capacity – Stannis and Shireen are both autistic, and so Stannis understands a lot about what Jon might be feeling. There's a sort of unspoken understanding between the two of them. Davos on the other hand is just always fantastic with children and very very gentle, which Jon takes a great liking to.
🐾 Definitely a padded regressor. It took a long time for him to become comfortable trying it, but the security and release that it provides is huge for him. In canon he likely has a nice set of cloth wraps, but in modern AUs I imagine he uses pull-ups on a regular basis and is padded when he drops smaller. The texture brings him a lot of comfort and helps him really slip into babyspace :))
🐾 He also has a tendency to chew. In canon once Davos meets Jon he fashions the boy a carefully smoothed wooden toy to gnaw on, and later fashions a thick cloth mitt that can hold pieces of ice for Jon to suckle and gnaw at. In modern AUs he's a frequent pacifier user, and has lots of chews and baby toys to gnaw on. He also quite likes suckling and biting at the ears and paws of his plushies.
🐾 Jon enjoys playing, but not all too often. He spends most of his time just hanging around and listening to the people near him, cuddling up in his carer's laps and fiddling with their buttons while the grown ups drone on; Jon likes to bring a stuffie or two and play quietly on occasion, but more often than not he's content to stim with whatever is in front of him at the moment.
🐾 He also rather loves being read to, especially by Sam and Robb. He'll curl up in their laps and babble in a little echo as they read to him from dusty old storybooks, pointing out pretty pictures and doing silly voices to make Jon giggle. Robb is a rather extravagant storyteller, usually working the kid up and making him shriek with laughter, but Sam is the complete opposite - if Jon is in Sam's quarters, there's a good chance he's already fast asleep with Sam's arms around him and a book in their laps.
🐾 When Jon does want to play, he loves sword fighting and running around with Ghost more than anything. Ghost is almost always at his side, snuggling him or playfully wrestling with him or giving him comfort, and Jon is always thrilled to have his pup right there. He especially loves to run his fingers through Ghost's soft shaggy fur and repeat echolalia to the big puppy all day long.
🐾 Jon is often safe in his stead (homeschooled in modern AUs, surrounded by CGs in canon) and drops rather small most days because he's so safe. He bounces around between caregivers asking for snuggles and playtime and little treats, and no one can refuse such a sweet face.
🐾 Loves being fed. Whether it's someone tearing off pieces of food for Jon or providing assistance in sipping his cup, it instantly relaxes him. When small he often sits side by side with his caregivers at mealtime and pouts until they feed him little bites from their own plates.
🐾 One of the first times Sam finds him small is after Jon had skipped dinner, so Sam snuck him up to the kitchens and fixed him a little knapsack with honeyed milk and sweetbread and pieces of fruit. He'd led the babe back up to Hardin's Tower and cozied him on the strawbeds, and Jon had fallen peacefully asleep in Sam's arms with his belly warm and full.
🐾 In modern AUs Jon is very fond of bottle feeding. He loves angel milk and regular milk and iced milk and all sorts of things. He's often given protein shakes so that he's getting proper nutrients when he's too small to eat, and he very much enjoys all the flavors they offer. He loves being held snug to a carer's chest, fed and cooed over and rocked ever so gently to sleep.
🐾 Veeeeeery dozy baby. Doesn't do much but nap when he's small – he likes to cuddle up to whoever's taking care of him and just sleep for hours on end, and when he's woken up all he wants to do is just go right back to bed. He kicks and makes little noises in his sleep just like a pup, and his CGs all find it very endearing.
🐾 His favorite place to be when he's small is with his family. The Stark cubs will all make a cuddle pile with Jon in the middle, and he never feels happier than he does smushed between everybody. They nest him with pillows and blankets and lots of his stuffie friends and Jon is more than content to lie there and snooze for hours.
