the Best Boss
Holy Communion
Leaving for his flight Helsing boarded the airport checking his watch. Looks like he still had some time to spare, it made him smile. These moments that weren’t filled with crazy adventure made him really feel human again. The smell of wild carrot and polish remained on his fingers and that nostalgic smell brought a smile wider than first stated. Looking about he saw people doing normal things, made him think about all the other servants sent home by that final singularity. Hornigold had recently met up with Lenonidas, he was teaching highschool football and was roommates with Beowulf (a cycling coach) and Heracles who really just lifted with them. Big football fans, Hornigold drank with them on a Sunday and said it was wild. Those happier thoughts passed quickly as he noticed a girl pass by.
“What?“ He asked himself as he walked after her, there was no way it was her. A being so pure wouldn’t have been reincarnated she deserved those heavenly gates.
“Mina..?“ He asked as he reached out for her shoulder. Fingers entering a crackling field of energy he stopped. This was the feeling of a magic user, either this was a mage who knew who he was or was one of those servants that had been released into the world. Hoping it was the later he pressed himself further as he finally made it to her and grabbed her shoulder gently but firmly.
“Excuse me Ma’am...“ Mustered out of his lips, he hadn’t the chance to meet all of the servants. However if this was a servant they would know his name as his later involvements with the final singularity were rather apparent being a four-star he was brought to the front when possible. Maybe with a stroke of luck he’d recognize them, upon name for sure though. For surely it was not one of those from his own stories... still... that fear washed through his bones as she began to turn.
