Oh God Thank you, you see the show kurulus osman had the the character of eftendise in the show but many in the fandom said that she was fictional so I was worried. On another note in the show they also made her the mother of Suleyman Pasha. Is that that part fictional
So, Uluçay says that Süleyman Pasha was Nilüfe's son, and therefore Murad's elder full brother, but Peirce is not convinced:
Nilüfer is traditionally thought to have been the mother of two of Orhan’s sons, Süleyman and Murad, the latter of whom succeeded his father. Nilüfer was indeed Murad’s mother, as the inscription on the public soup kitchen he built for her in İznik (Nicea) testifies. However, it is possible, indeed likely, that she was not the mother of Süleyman, the most celebrated of Orhan’s sons during the sultan’s lifetime, until his untimely death through a fall from his horse. Nilüfer does not appear as a signatory to the endowment deed of 1324, and in fact she may not yet have joined Orhan’s family. The traditional date for Murad’s birth is ca. 1326, when Orhan already had three sons (including Süleyman), all at least in their late teens and old enough to act as legal witnesses; the age gap between Süleyman and Murad was considerable (a reliable guess is approximately twenty years). If Nilüfer was not the mother of Süleyman, we are then faced with the question of who was: a likely candidate is Efendi/Eftendize. (The Imperial Harem, pp. 34-35)
In the note she explains why Efendi/Eftendize could be Süleyman Pasha's mother:
This is the hypothesis of Kepecioğlu (Bursa Kütüğü, 10-11), who bases it on the fact it was common for Turkish families of this period to name their children after their (the children’s) grandparents; Süleyman had a daughter named Eftendize, as his younger brother Murad, son of Nilüfer, had a daughter named Nilüfer.
