A Poem of Life
Work, you creep close like death. Making my mood sour and shortening my breath. Day and night I'm up and down. Always trying to hold onto how happy I can be. But, more or less, here comes that frown. Happiness I no longer can see. Through the day, it's short and dire. Literally, just wanna set the place on fire. See it all burn bright and high. Wicked grin as those flames lick the sky. But, here I lay on the couch. Lost in the void that is my mind. Nothing happening, so I slouch. Until happiness once again I find.
another day, another night of staying up too late to look at phone yippee!!!

Guess who's running ridiculously late this morning?! Lol. I can't afford a cab to work, but it looks like I'm taking one anyway. Oops. Got to get my glutes trained before I leave!
Not thrilled that I have to leave for work real soon. Also not thrilled that I won't be home until around 8. Triple not thrilled that I snoozed my alarm every ten minutes from 7:30 to 8:30. 😩
