Calligraphy practice with oblique penholder, EF Principal, Rhodia creme paper and Daniel Smith's walnut ink. So I have found an old bookmark from Ca' del Sol with a poem about masks in my copy of Alberto Toso Fei's VENEZIÆNIGMA. I have no clue who is the author of the poem, since the signature is undecipherable. Also, with my poor remains of Italian I could actually understand it. Not to long ago, I have filled in wedding invitations and table tags in my native language (which I barely use in written form. Yes, I am taking notes in English). I discovered that the letter connections are not as easy as in case of English and so I have decided to grab some other language to practice. As I have found out, Italian has easy connections. My letter c however tends to make my words go upwards so with all that occhio-s and faccio-s and peccato-s it was not in vain. #calligraphy #handwritten #efprincipal #rhodia #walnutink #danielsmith #italian #obliquepenholder #calligraphypractice
