NEW EP: TRAYC SELASI - THE ART & THE MUSE
Multi-faceted British-Ghanaian singer, dancer, and songwriter Trayc Selasi returns with her highly anticipated debut EP The Art and the Muse, just in time for cuffing season.
A high-level demonstration of genre versatility, playful production, candid songwriting, enveloped in enthralling and self-assured vocals, heavily influenced by the infectious sounds and culture of her native.
“This E.P has become an eye-opener for me and has allowed me to be vulnerable. Opening sides to me I only shared in a diary. This project has given me so much joy, and I am ready to share with the world who I am, My art, My MUSE” . Trayc explains.
Ghana Calling - Entry for @africavision
So life got in the way of Ghana’s national finals (little brothers who need you to teach them an A Level you’ve never studied like what?!) so we’ve had to settle for internal selection.
We’ve selected Efya, a gorgeous multi award winning singer from Kumasi, Ghana. A self-described afrosoul singer, Efya first appeared on the talent show Stars of the Future and has also starred in a Nigerian-Ghanaian romantic comedy: Single and Married.
The selected song is One Of Your Own from her 2015 album Janesis. It’s fairly beautiful and has a really sweet message.
The album version features Bisa Kdei and here’s the Youtube link if the rules would rather us use official releases, but we kind of like her live version on Radio 1Xtra in Ghana.
Confirmed Acts
With a week to go until the first semi-final, it’s time to announce the first 10 acts who will be featuring at some point during the selection process for Ghana’s entry to @africavision!
Becca
Bisa Kdei
Efya
Fuse ODG
Guvna B
MzVee
Reggie ‘n’ Bollie

If you would like to recommend any other artists to be entered into the semi-final stage, leave us a message either here or here.
