I'll be fairly absent for the next few days. We still don't have working air conditioning and today it hit 107F (41.6C). So I'm staying in the coolest part of the house, which isn't where the PC is, and only checking in at night when it's tolerable.

My dad rigged up a portable fan with an ice pack in front of it to blow right in my face and that actually helped a great deal. I didn't realize until later that I'd started scaring him because I just... stopped talking. I guess he was thisclose to calling an ambulance for me. 🫤 I don't like worrying him like that. It wasn't predicted to be that hot so I wasn't prepared properly. I'll be on my guard now for today and try to keep from getting that bad, if possible.
