can i ask you or your followers for stories on helping someone realize they're trans? or how you would have liked someone to crack your egg. i have a sibling that i only occasionally talk to, who's been posting more and more things that, combined with everything else i know about them, make me want to talk to them about how they could potentially be transfem. we used to be somewhat close but due to my estrangement from our family, we don't talk as much nowadays. i know every relationship and context is different so every approach isn't one size fits all, i just also know i have the opportunity to help them realize things about gender and be there for them again, and i'm curious how other people have done this for others or how they wish it was done for them. thanks for your time, i hope the rest of your day is gentle and good.

Tbh I’m an only child so I can’t help with the family aspect of it but if my followers can help you, I’d appreciate it.

But I will say that as someone who could’ve been cracked three years sooner and was instead intentionally kept in my shell, I resent that person every fucking day for stealing three years of knowing who I was from me, even if it wasn’t “safe” for me when/where I was at the time. I would’ve rather boymoded for three years and known who I was instead of being kept in my shell.
