my big boy saul laid these eggs 11/15 and i’ve been watching their development
a few days ago, i noticed some were “cracking” - the white outer layer seemed to split, but there weren’t babies hatching yet. today i took a look and noticed some were expanded even more, and in this one you can even see the baby!
it seems like the eggs have this harder outer membrane, and then another one inside that actually holds in the yolk and the baby.
the little white blob in the middle is their face! they are moving around and reacting! definitely gonna check on them more often now
