@nebulathisimdone drew me Ashley for an art raffle and @lemon-teacake had the big brain idea to ask Neb to add Gina, and mailed me a physical copy, framed and everything!

This drawing is based off the AU I have where Gina is taken in by Gregson at a younger age (and is friends with the Van Zieks family), and Ash never gets out of the slums, and becomes a milkman. You can find my first fic about this AU, "Truth or Dairy", on ao3.

Ashley's outfit here is what I have in mind for one of the sequels I have planned, where he and Gina have dinner at the Van Zieks manor.

ooohhh some very interesting ships, you're making me work for this one XD Kazuma/Gina Something intrigues me about this, they're so similar in temperments and yet, and the mentors they looked up to were vastly different people than they thought, even to the point where the memories are very bittersweet (Gina with Gregson, Kazuma with his own father, and to an extent Jigoku). I think things would be incredibly tense between them since Kazuma was considering killing Gregson, and that's still a tender spot for Gina since he DID help her a lot. I think that even if they have a tense beginning, there is a respect for the other there

AA Rarepair Week Day 5 - "Truth or Dairy"

If you follow me on twitter you KNOW i spent NaNoWriMo predominantly working on a fic for Rarepair Week that got a bit out of control because my love for this pairing is also a bit out of control.

I've been WAITING to post this and I want to shout out all my pals who've cheered me on through writing it! Writing for a rarepair (like, I'm literally creating the tag on ao3) can be a bit isolating but it's good to know there's so many people intrigued. 💖💖💖 Truly I appreciate everyone's encouragement 🥲

So, without further ado, my 20k Eggina fic, an AU if there ever was one, "Truth or Dairy" Gina Lestrade (Inspector Gina Lestrade, thank you very much!) is, as she does early every morning, making her rounds and ensuring the citizens on her beat are safe and untroubled.

Unfortunately, it's Gina who soon finds herself troubled, having to deal with that conceited milkman whose schedule always infuriatingly overlaps with hers. What did she ever do to him, that he has to be so damn difficult to get along with?

Commissioned this lovely Eggina piece based on an AU idea I have where Ashley is ultimately released, and ends up living in Soseki’s former digs. (It’s more complicated than that but that’s the jist of it.)
