Unroll the flavors of a classic egg roll in this easy stir-fry recipe. It's a quick and delicious way to enjoy the taste of egg rolls without the hassle of rolling and frying. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground pork. 1 onion, chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 cup shredded cabbage. 1 cup shredded carrots. 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers assorted colors. 1/2 cup snap peas. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 1 tablespoon oyster sauce. 1 teaspoon sesame oil. 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooking oil for stir-frying. Chopped green onions for garnish.
Instructions: Heat the cooking oil in a big skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and saut until the onions become transparent and fragrant. Cook the ground pork until it turns brown, crumbling it while it cooks. Add bell peppers, carrots, snap peas, and shredded cabbage and stir. Cook until the vegetables begin to soften, three to five minutes. Combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, ground ginger, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. After adding the sauce mixture to the stir-fry, toss to mix. Simmer for a further two to three minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot. Savor your stir-fried unrolled egg roll!
