Here is a simple way to boil eggs just right. Good for breakfast, salads, or a snack that's high in protein.
Ingredients: 6 eggs. Water.
Instructions: Place the eggs in a saucepan. Cover the eggs with cold water, ensuring they are fully submerged. Place the saucepan on high heat and bring the water to a boil. Once the water boils, reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan, and simmer for 9-12 minutes 9 minutes for soft-boiled, 12 minutes for hard-boiled. While the eggs are simmering, prepare a bowl of ice water. After the desired cooking time, use a slotted spoon to transfer the eggs to the ice water to cool and stop the cooking process. Let the eggs sit in the ice water for at least 5 minutes. Peel the eggs by tapping them gently on a hard surface, then rolling them to loosen the shells. Peel the shells off carefully. Serve the boiled eggs as desired.
