i have a lot of interpretations for these but the one i will start with for now is egobworder and follower sword both being stargazers personal knights. they hate each others GUTS but also want each other badly at the same exact time. egobworder teases follower sword and purposely pisses him off and they start bickering over the smallest thing possible. stargazer rocket doesn’t need a jester because all his entertainment is derived from egobworder and follower sword’s constant catfights.

follower sword is enraged by the fact he has a crush on egobworder and tries to chalk it up to him just wanting egobworder dead. but the truth is he does NOT want egobworder dead (and in fact wants his hand in marriage). he would never fall in love with such a barbarian! he wouldn’t ever. but somehow? he did anyways.

egobworder on the other hand is painfully unaware that he’s in love and thinks it’s the amusement he gets from constantly riling up follower sword. love? what he’s feeling can’t be love! it’s not crossed his mind once that constantly feeling his heart race every time he’s in follower sword’s proximity can’t be just mere short term amusement. he merely looks forward to their long series of debates.

once follower fell ill for a while and egobworder was frantic when he didn’t see follower around that day. what happened to follower?? where is he?? he’s missing out on our daily petty argument?? how could this happen!!! i’ve got to make sure he’s okay!!! and he instantly rushed to follower’s bedside with an entire box of medication he stole from the infirmary. follower spent that entire night thinking about his feelings for ego and if he might be gay

to outsiders their constant bickering seem like a rivalry. a constant battle for the prince’s love (stargazer). but in reality? it’s just two gayass knights with a firey love-hate relationship and whose dynamic can be summed up with:

“ooo you wanna kiss me so bad”

“WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM” <- does indeed want to kiss them badly
