Katla’s Centiskorch (sometimes called Centi so not to mix her up with Kabu’s Centiskorch) is pretty chill normally, and whilst is very physically affectionate, she’s usually perceptive enough to give people their space if they’re uncomfortable with her (she is a giant bug who can set fire to things, after all).

She’s also very loving and protective of Kat, which can get her into trouble as Centi gets pretty hostile in her defence of her trainer.

This led to some amusing misunderstandings when it came to Kat and Nanu flirting, especially since Kat will sometimes deliberate tease or wind Nanu up make him threaten to ‘punish’ her - in very amorous ways. However, since Kat sometimes reacts with ‘fear’ when he corners her, Centi initially misinterpreted this when they forgot she was in the same room as them.

Thus leading to Nanu coming eye-to-eye with an angry Centiskorch.

Nanu stared back, completely nonplussed by the fact her fiery antenna were so close he could feel the heat from them. They stayed like that for a couple of seconds, before a: ‘Perrrowl~’ sounded out and Nanu asked, in his normal deadpan tone: “Remind me, Kat - how weak are Centiskorch to Rock type moves?”

“Uh, very.” The younger trainer glanced over, and saw Perla’s forehead gem was glowing.

“...Might wanna call off your noodle before she gets squashed, then.”

Centi quickly backed off at this, and Perla rapidly bapped her on the head for threatening her kahuna. They make sure to keep her somewhere else when doing amorous activities such as that in the future.

(That said, Centi learns quickly that Nanu and Kat are only playing, and later starts staring at Nanu when he’s ‘busy’ to try and distract him. She also starts playing this game with Kabu, much to his chagrin. Especially when *his* Centiskorch decides to copy his mate, so now there’s two Centiskorch staring, trying to throw them off their game.)

I haven’t really had the time to draw much as of late, but now that I’m finally in front of a computer, well, I wanted to try my hand at the anthro thing again (am I doing it right..?).

These two are some old OCs from a story I kinda dropped a long time ago (that is to say, it was my obsession for a year in high school.. never to be spoken of again lol). They were originally a part of a world of animal gijinkas (and most of it was just worldbuilding galore with me constructing modern societies with all the freedoms and restrictions that various animal gijinka people would have lol).

Anyways.. we’ve got an unnamed pair of dog cops. Ol’ Doberman Pinscher fella is an old school beat cop. Used to be a well respected detective back in the day, but now he’s considered an outdated relic and among suggestions of retirement, keeps getting assigned busywork to his consternation. After a long solo stint, he was just recently assigned a new partner, a promising, if rather undisciplined new recruit.

Fun facts: Has an oddly Batman-like silhouette. Is actually younger than he looks/seems, though it’s hard to tell with how much grumpy old man habits he has. Terrible with modern technology. Doesn’t like talking about his past. Still a bachelor, but surprisingly good with kids.

Husky is the newbie on the force. Got good marks in training and is truly intelligent, but that was overshadowed by his lack of discipline. His friendly and air-headed demeanor didn’t really help with the whole police man image either. Assigned to DP in the hopes that he would learn some self-control.

Fun facts: Surprisingly food motivated, loves sweet pastries (i.e. donuts) with a passion. Fortunately his love of sweets is not overshadowed by his sense of justice. Still rather naive about how the world works though. Is basically a cinnamon roll (also loves to eat cinnamon rolls). Despite his fluffy countenance, is very athletic and could have gone into competitive Fetch had he not chosen the police. Scared of butterflies.

I would just like to take a minute to point out the utter hypocrisy from the "women take forever in the shower hur hur" group who undoubtedly are also the "women must have no hair or else it's gross" group. WHY the fuck do you think they take longer than you in the shower, Logan? What could they possibly be doing in there (besides plotting how to get away from you)? Hint: scrubbing, shaving, and moisturizing take a little longer than standing under the water for five minutes and declaring yourself clean.
