Ahh, I like to think she’s got tons of bedtime stories memorized bc she used to tell them to her little siblings before they went to bed. During postgame, sometimes people would have trouble sleeping and if they asked, she’d just stay with them telling those stories and sometimes talking about some of the crazy things she’s done when she was younger. It makes her kinda nostalgic, but it’s a little like telling her little siblings those bedtime stories for the first time again. It’s not her biological family, maybe, but family all the same.

Sick Andreil HC

So there are a lot of these cute headcannons with Neil or Andrew sick and andrew knowing 100% what to do and being the perfect not-boyfriend taking care of him because obviously he learned in foster care. But then Neil is like this panicky Iamsolostwhatismedicine!!! Guy, but I feel like Neil would completely know what to do, if have a very shitty bedside manor

I mean this boy was on the run for like 8 years? He's gotten a ton of battle scars? Mary was his mom! Obviously one of them would have gotten sick at one point

I feel like Neil would notice much quicker than Andrew would. Andrew would just try to play it off, because "what? I'm not sick, I'm never sick, shut up, idiot"

And Neil would just stare at him like "oookay, andrew, whatever you say" but obviously still watch him because this boy- that's his life

And then later in the day he would just get worse but try to hide it and Neil would at first casually suggest things and, used to Mary saying "I'm fine", he obviously had to learn that awful excuse from somewhere, would then go all mother Neil on him and force him to get some sense. Because while on the run, they had to keep their strength up as well as keep moving, a sick member of the group just slows everyone down.

Over time he might be kinder, get him all that he needs aside from the essentials, but the first time he'd definitely tell him to sit down and shut up, and Andrew, too sick to argue would just glare and do what he says.

Taking the awful home remedies that Neil concocts from long days with his mother and rationing out some Tylenol to break the fever and keeping him under blankets no matter how he protests, refusing to give him anything but water and Gatorade. Not allowing anyone else to see him because he knows he hates to look week, especially in front of his family.

It would probably go a little like

*Neil blocking the bedroom door*

Kevin: Neil, let me in

Neil: No

Kevin: why?! You've been guarding this all day, where is Andrew?

Neil: I don't need to answer to you

Kevin: wtf, just let me I-

Neil: Kevin, sometimes you need to just be silent. No run along! There is exy needs for you to attend to!

*Neil shoos him off while Kevin just leaves out of confusion*

Neil of course would hover, staying with him until he is better and Andrew would just keep upping the percentage because he secretly likes the doting and that little smile his words elicit from Neil.
