Do y'all ever think that Kyoshi would want to set things straight about Kuruk being a Hero defeating all those spirits but he's all, "No Kyoshi, the world should never know."

Like he says "the World" but Kyoshi and all their past lives know it means "Hei-Ran" because Kuruk is a sweetie and he doesn't want her to feel guilty about him dealing with it all alone.

Azula first called Zuko Zuzu bc that was one of her first words as a child.

As they grew older she liked it bc it was the only syllable they had in common: Azula and Zuko.

After listening to (parts of) The Shadow of Kyoshi, I've learned:

1. being a sulky fire nation royal is genetic

2. Kuruk deserved better

3. Kuruk may never get a book/comic bc he only lived 33 years, and got a summary of those years in AtLA and in the book

4. Kuruk deserved better

Rewatched a few episodes of Book 3 and I noticed that Zuko and Azula had matching outfits.

I know Ozai wouldn't be bothered to dress his kids up in the same clothes. Zuko can't have had those clothes from before he was banished bc that was three years ago and he definitely grew.

So I hc that Azula had everything made for Zuko to match her (in that younger siblings want to dress the same as their older siblings way).

Rewatched Zuko Alone

I noticed that Azula and Zuko may have had issues, but what siblings don't? So when she's with her friends she wants to show off and be seen as the better child, but when she and Zuko were playing when Ursa received the letter of Lu Ten's death, Zuko and Azula seemed to be getting along just fine.

When they're being presented to Azulon, Ozai does some major buttkissing and shows off Azula, but notice that he said he had already seen her do that routine before, which gets me to thinking that Ozai saw Azula was gifted then groomed her to be who he wanted her to be.

Ursa could have helped, but maybe she didn't realize it soon enough. She did wonder what was wrong with Azula, but I guess by then, it was too late.

Headcanon: Ozai wanted to suck up to Azulon so much that he made sure Azula's hairstyle was reminiscent of Azulon's and never allowed his daughter's hair to be styled differently.

It was another way that Ozai controlled and manipulated her.

FYI. Daofei were criminal groups operating around the Earth Kingdom circa Kuruk's and Kyoshi's Era. And Yangchen if you think about the Fifth Nation as Daofei.
