There were many ways to tell stories. Arachne was, of course, partial to the visual manner in her own artistry. While she liked other methods just fine, there was nothing that quite managed to tell a story like a well-woven tapestry, as far as she was concerned. This dancer, though, she had to admit, came pretty close. She actually stayed until the end of the performance, which was something she could not always say about these traveling entertainers. The one thing she felt she could have done without, though, was the audience participation. “Do you always involve your audience in your shows?” she asked him after he had finished, the flower he had placed in her hair still remaining untouched.
