It’s my second eid Subhanallah. Although I am starting to get more acquainted with what it means to be muslim, it’s times like these that I yearn for my family to see the beauty in the same ideals that I do. It isn’t easy being the odd one out, but Allah has granted me a life companion who goes through that same experience but is there to remind me of the purpose and to remind me of Allah, Mashallah. Alhamdulillah I am eternally grateful for the knowledge I have gained, the pain I have been cured from, and the mercy and grace that has been bestowed upon me. He truly is the Most Merciful. May He grant me much more life in islam, may He bless the Ummah, may He penetrate the hearts of my family, may He protect my faith and my marriage, may he grant me children and make them pious Muslims. Ameen.
I'm at 2nd of eid
So I had a change in attire; about half way thru the day I just wore a plain abaya nd this cute headpiece. Oh and did I mention it was waaaaaaay too sunny today and there was a warm breeze (it was too much for my Canadian soul) . Bleh. EID MUBARAK! Enjoy
