Unusual Political Rant

I am SO sick and tired of the political world today. It is filling our hearts and minds with hatred of the things we don’t understand. Maybe if Americans (I am an American) were taught more ranging subjects than just a little bit of Spanish or French languages we could take classes that teach about the world around us. I for one would love a Religion class in high school that just went over the basic facts from religions around the world! I didn’t know anything about Islamic faith until I wrote a paper on it. And you know what? They believe in a God just like the rest of us do! They also have subcategories of Islamic faith! For politicians like Donald Trump to just blame everything on “Radical Islamic” people just pisses me off. THAT’S RIGHT YOU GIANT ORANGE, YOU PISS ME OFF!!! I have a wonderful friend from nursing school who is Muslim. She is one of the sweetest people I know and she is going to become a person that will save AMERICAN lives because she is AMERICAN. Your religion should not define you in such a negative light. Because if we start hating Muslim people I am going to say we need to start hating the narrow minded Christians who are hating gay people just as much. Sure none of them have shot 50 some odd gay people (people who’s lives have been cut short unfairly and need to be remembered because they are people too!) yet but if this is the case we have set we might as well wait for it to happen. We can’t blame religion for this countries problems. We can only blame our own ignorance. WE don’t have gun safety laws. WE allow people to spread hate so freely. WE don’t stop the hate when we HAVE TO START DOING IT! We can not be hateful little shits because we are ignorant! That’s not an excuse anymore! Go get yourself learned on matters before you spew bullshit from your big ole mouths by using those tiny little brains! And you know what… I don’t know everything, I haven’t researched it all, but at least I am trying to understand what is going on. YOU CAN’T LOOK AT A PERSON AND JUDGE THEM LIKE THAT! Let’s use common sense everyone…before we turn America into a hateful and unaccepting place. And may I just remind anyone who hates immigrants… unless you were a Native American… you are a child of immigrants you idiot. I don’t care if people disagree with me, that’s good let me know how you feel too, but this is my opinion on our messed up country today.

Eīd Mubarāk to the Islāmic Ummāh, to the believing brothers & sisters. May Allah accept your prayers and fast, and May Allah keep you till the following Holy Month of Ramadan, so that you may relive its nights and days. Forgiveness is what this sinful servant asks for, for any hurtful comments, shortcomings, or evil committed. That is all I have for you all, May the Peace & Blessings be Upon Muhammad & His Holy Household, amen.

The Commander of the Faithful `Ali (as) on the Holy Eīd of Al-Fītr

Peace be upon you,

As promised here is a sermon that is reported on the authority of the Commander of the Faithful `Ali (peace be upon him) that I translated which provides insight on the day of Eīd. It also provides wisdom and makes one ponder. 

The Prince of Eloquence has said, as reported by Shāykh al-Sādūq in his Amālī, the Imam rose to the pulpit and began delivering his sermon on the day of Eīd:

O People! This day of yours is a day in which the good-doers will be rewarded and the false-doers will lose. The parable of this day s like the day in which you stand before your lord, (the day of Judgment). Henceforth, when you depart from your home towards your place of prayer, remember that day, when your souls depart from your body, and when you stand in prayer remember that you are standing before your Lord, and when you go back to your homes remember your departure from this world to the Heavens.

O Slaves of Allah! The smallest of rewards the fasting believing men & women will be granted on this day, is that an angel will call on the last day of the Month of Ramadan: ‘Glad Tidings, O Slaves of Allah. Allah has erased what previous Sin you had carried. Henceforth, pay attention to what becomes of you after today’.
