for the first time in forever, garu’s mind is quiet. uncomfortably silent. hes not used to the silence within his and karu’s shared headspace. eiden tries his best to comfort one of his boyfriends from his worries of where their other, shared boyfriend is.

Hi! Thanks for the tapping/homescreen dialogue translations you provided! if you have time & interested, would you be available to look into the japanese version of OG garu room 5, Howling Cycle room 5, garu's SR when it's karu's turn, and Endless Banquet room 2? I know those rooms have some amount of karu talking about bottoming/topping (and in fact both EB & HC is him trying to and failing to top in English). I also switched my language settings to japanese and recorded HC and his SR. (There's a tiny hint of it in Ethereal Guardian room 5, so I recorded that too. unfortunately I don't have Endless Banquet.) Thanks!

Yep! I replied some already on that post but it wasn't comprehensive; here's what I got. everybody speaks standardized japanese dialect (which is what i primarily understand) so i think i can just do it by sound (and I have some H scenes by Forbidden Means), but i'll let you know if there's anything i need the transcript for: OG SSR: karu says "kono taisu ni" = "facing this direction"; "osaetsukeru" = penetrating; the full line of this would be in english, "i should be the one thrusting into a human" so this one *does* indicate penetration; eiden next time says that karu can be "ue ni suru"/be on top; "ue" just means top, as in the direction (on top of eiden) Howling Cyclone room 5: "oshitaosu" which means pin down (sexual connotations, but not necessarily penetration); "ue" meaning physically on top (though i think karu might have wanted to imply penetration here too, since he says that's not what he meant by "on top")

Garu SR (Karu's turn):...unfortunately the video I have for this one cuts off the dialogue a lot, and I don't have them at max intimacy yet...if you can send me the Japanese lines I can take a look! From initial glance there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of talk about Karu topping/being on top.

If you can send me the JP dialogue for Ethereal Guardian, I can take a look, but I thankfully have Endless Banquet! Endless Banquet: "oshitaosu" again; there's a line that is translated as "You wanna be on top that bad, huh?" but in Japanese it literally means "Sheesh...Are you going to object to that, no matter what?" "that" being Eiden touching him; oshitaosu again.

So from what I can tell, there's only one explicit reference to penetration, and the rest are mostly references to being physically on top.
