"That was probably the stupidest looking dive I've ever seen."
Armin couldn't help but to tease Jean as the other male climbed out of the pool, white tanktop that he'd decided to dive off of clinging to his chest and stomach as the water dripped from it. It was a miserably hot day, and so the two of them had decided to go to the pool; it might have been a better decision of Armin actually liked swimming in pools, but he found that he much preferred the ocean... not like they could just pick up and go to the ocean. The pool would do for now, and to be honest, it was almost worth it to spend time at the crowded community pool just to see Jean make a fool of himself on the diving board.
Not that the smaller of the two had room to talk, considering that he didn't even know how to properly dive (correction: he had read all about and watched diving competitions, but when it came actually doing it, he was a miserable failure). Armin opened his mouth to ask if Jean wanted to go over to the little food stand for something to eat, but his words were cut short as a girl sauntered past, tanktop hanging off her shoulder as she shot a saucy look Jean's way. "Nice stuff up there." She hummed before walking on, plopping herself in one of the pool chairs and patting the empty one beside her with a pointed look towards Jean.
Armin had never considered himself a jealous person, but in that moment, he could've sworn that his world flashed red. The blonde's jaw clenched and he turned back towards Jean, a tight smile on his face even with that girl only two steps away from them. Raising a hand, Armin pressed one of his fingers against the other boy's exposed collarbone, where a purple bruise stood out against Jean's fair skin.
"If I would've known we were going to the pool, I would've been more careful." He murmured, because although he was still quite angry in this moment, Armin didn't want to share too much. He wasn't an exhibitionist (or at least, he didn't think he was). He did, however, turn towards the girl and smile slyly before he looked to Jean once more, pressing his lips against the bruised flesh that stretched across the curve of his clavicle.
"I sort of feel like leaving more right now, though." Armin commented, voice a little tense but the smile still on his lips as he pulled away from Jean, unable to resist sparing a coy glance towards the shocked girl, still alone by the pool.
