Notes for Eilura, subject to change until I can complete the wiki article! All non-sentient things have magical energy flowing through them. Sometimes, this magical energy can split off and create a new, sentient being known as the eilura. - All eilura have magical energy flowing through them, shown through their eyes, horns, and clear patches of skin. - Their physical appearance and magical ability can vary based on the thing that originally gave off the magical energy. Very rarely, multiple types of energy can make an eilura (though will be unstable) - Eilura don’t “age” in the traditional sense. An eilura may appear childlike if they don’t have enough magical energy accumulated. This can also result in their magical energy being weaker. Most eilura at full-energy look like young-adults. - They die only if all of their magical energy is separated from them. Injury, loss of limbs, and emotional distress are all examples of what can cause loss of magical energy. - Eilura can restore their energy by accumulating released energy of the same type. - Unable to use spell items, eilura are only able to use magic from the energy that created them. (A flower eilura will have nature magic, for example.) - If an eilura isn’t born, the magical energy can then become semi-sentient beings called “droplets”. They can make themselves known but are generally invisible to the average person. All eilura can see them due to the shared eilurian ability to see magical energy. Eilura are a race for Iluciya project.
