Back in Business! Admittedly, I thought I’d let the project quietly die, but I have found a new trickle of inspiration in the form of a game! That’s right, behind the scenes we’ve been working on a game!

While it’s in the creative process, though, I’m going to be finally putting up world building progress and getting the long promised race information so that everyone can at least have something to look at! Bear with me while I get everything cleaned up and updated~

They trade inventions for food, since they seemingly cannot hunt or gather thing well on their own. Most Nikinoe are born without vocal chords, and they communicate with a language made up entirely of chimes from their bells. They seem to understand spoken language as well, since most of the Nikino traders can understand what’s being said to them.

- Their ears are pointed, furry ears with wing-shaped “antenna” coming from them. - They have furry tails, with a bell-like appendage attached to it. Their ears and tails are always the same color as their hair, and their antennae and bells are always a shade of white. - Most of them are born without vocal chords, but a rare mutation has recently begun to show itself in which they do have vocal chords. - They communicate with their tail bells. - Most, if not all nikinoe live within the city of Gelisia. - Their clothes share a common trim on the ends- triangles that have the color of their class. Red being the lowest and purple being the highest class.

Notes for Eilura, subject to change until I can complete the wiki article! All non-sentient things have magical energy flowing through them. Sometimes, this magical energy can split off and create a new, sentient being known as the eilura. - All eilura have magical energy flowing through them, shown through their eyes, horns, and clear patches of skin. - Their physical appearance and magical ability can vary based on the thing that originally gave off the magical energy. Very rarely, multiple types of energy can make an eilura (though will be unstable) - Eilura don’t “age” in the traditional sense. An eilura may appear childlike if they don’t have enough magical energy accumulated. This can also result in their magical energy being weaker. Most eilura at full-energy look like young-adults. - They die only if all of their magical energy is separated from them. Injury, loss of limbs, and emotional distress are all examples of what can cause loss of magical energy. - Eilura can restore their energy by accumulating released energy of the same type. - Unable to use spell items, eilura are only able to use magic from the energy that created them. (A flower eilura will have nature magic, for example.) - If an eilura isn’t born, the magical energy can then become semi-sentient beings called “droplets”. They can make themselves known but are generally invisible to the average person. All eilura can see them due to the shared eilurian ability to see magical energy. Notes for Luxa, subject to change until I complete their wiki article! Click the pictures for captions. Luxa are a race known for their ability to use magic of their affinity without the need for a spell item. They can cast more advanced magic with a spell item, however they are not able to learn magic of outside affinities even with the help of a spell item. - All luxa have unique birthmarks, usually shown on their wrists, but can be located elsewhere. - They also have protrusions from their skulls, seemingly linked with their universal ability to harness their affinity. Size and shape vary. - Their pupils often have unique shapes. - Skin pigment varies between whites and other shades of their blood color. Sometimes their pigment can be something else if they are born from mixed parents. - Luxa are more easily affected by environmental changes- for example, an ice-affinitied luxa can go out in the cold with summerwear, but will experience discomfort in hotter climates and are more prone to heatstroke.  Luxa are a race for Iluciya project.
