Einsatz Manufacturing Day Memory Story “How a Butler Spends His Holiday” Part 1
Alto: (...At this rate, I might arrive a little later than promised.)
(I don’t want to keep Nobel-san and Ruma-san waiting, so I should probably pick up the pace a little.)
(Although…I didn’t expect that they’d invite me to Ein-san’s manufacturing day celebration.)
(How would Ein-san even celebrate his manufacturing day…?)
Haha…I can’t imagine.
…Oh? Is that…?
Einsatz: …
Alto: (Is that Ein-san standing over there…!?)
(I can’t believe this timing…! More importantly, what should I do?)
Einsatz: Hm…? Oh, it’s you, Doctor.
What a coincidence to happen upon you here.
Alto: (He’s spotted me…what do I do? This can’t be good…)
(Nobel-san and Ruma-san asked me to keep the celebration a secret…)
H-Hello, Ein-san. What’re you doing here?
(Maybe the other two asked him to run some errands so that he wouldn’t notice them getting everything ready.)
Einsatz: I am not out for any particular reason.
Alto: Oh, is that so?
Einsatz: Or rather I should say, I have been stood here immobile as I’ve had no clue as to what I should do.
Alto: What do you mean…?
(Maybe they just asked him to leave the house?)
Einsatz: …To be frank, my masters have suddenly given me a holiday until the evening.
Alto: (...I knew it, they asked him to go out for a bit.)
(I see. He would’ve found out they were planning a celebration for his manufacturing day if they hadn’t.)
Einsatz: Although, I find it rather puzzling.
They’ve never given me something such as a “holiday” before now.
Alto: (It seems that he has no idea about the celebration for now…)
I don't think it's something you need to worry too much about?
You’re always busy with your work so I’m sure they just wanted you to take it easy.
(There’s no mistake there.)
Einsatz: Of course, I have no intention of wasting a “holiday” from my masters.
However, I have found myself in somewhat of an embarrassing situation.
Alto: An embarrassing situation…? What’s happened?
Einsatz: The concept of a “holiday” does not exist to me.
That is why I have been awfully unsure of what I should do or what would be enjoyable.
Alto: I-I see…! How like you, Ein-san…
Although, if I was suddenly sent on a holiday out of the blue I’d probably be in the same boat as you, Ein-san.
Einsatz: By the way, where are you off to in such a hurry?
Alto: Huh? Uhh…um, it’s nothing like that…
Einsatz: Then if you wouldn’t mind, could you teach me how to best spend a holiday?
Alto: Uh, you want me to do that?
Einsatz: As a human, surely you must know how to make the most of a holiday.
Alto: Ein-san…
(What do I do…? If I agree then I won’t be able to go and help with the party preparations…)
(But I’d feel bad leaving Ein-san while he’s like this…)
Einsatz: Unless you have other commitments to attend to, of course.
Alto: …Alright, I’ll show you, if that’s what you’d like.
Next
you and me~
