So uh anyone remember Abi? Yeah the one who started the whole generational trauma with Seiryuu's power bit. Unintentionally, ofc(no one wants to be kidnapped and tortured, duh). Yeah, og blue dragon warrior Abi, that Abi??

Quick headcanon that he is a huge part of the reason og dragon bros left. Not just for his own sake, but also because future generations and Guen an Shuten and Zeno being left to deal with the aftermath. But also just. His healing process? After Hiryuu dies, I highly doubt the four bros get too touchy feely, Hiryuu was the one that united them, after all, but I'd like to think that at least for this one instance, all dragons just kinda came together for support. Because yeah, these are three fully grown, emotionally stunted men with a teenager who's constantly trying to live up to the hype of the legend surrounding them, but they love each other. They're rough around the edges, but I'd like to think they can take care of each other and support each other when need be. Hiryuu definitely would have wanted that. He would've taught them that.

Either Zeno or Guen is the one speaking, probably Guen. Because Abi's state after the incident is really sad and it just makes Shuten angry (because he couldn't do more) Zeno depressed (because he feels useless yet again and is definitely the one taking care of him and trying to cheer him up) and Guen lost (because he's the eldest. He should know how to handle these situations and be able to fix it because again. eldest. but it's literally just after Hiryuu's death and everyone is still dealing with so much grief). So uhhh... Abi recovery fic? He gets better, starts healing, even if he doesn't let people see his eyes before he leaves, and I really want some og dragon and youngster Zeno fluff. That was the original point of this post but I got so sidetracked lmao.

LISTEN. Abi, Guen, and Shuten just. Hit different. They hold a very special little place in my heart, I really want to write that fic sometime but i'll just leave this here for now/also for future reference.

This Rick and Andy Chow/ Cyrus Carmack-belton situation wouldn't have all of this debate and vitriol toward the dead child surrounding it if the races were reversed lol. If two grown black men were chasing a non-black 14 year old more than 130 yards over a confirmed false belief that he had been trying to steal a water bottle from them and then he pulled a gun in defense of himself, everyone would view that as a panicked attempt at self defense in a moment of fear against two big bad violent blacks chasing him. That's aside from the fact that there's zero proof Cyrus drew the gun at all (only those two men alleged that that happened) and very well may not have since he was shot in the back. Even if he did draw it, there's also zero proof that he didn't draw it after Rick Chow drew his, and the fact that Rick Chow had shot at fleeing people who were confirmed to not have drawn any weapons on him in the past just adds to there being no reason to stamp out either possibility, either him never having drawn it at all or him having drawn it after having a gun drawn on him first. Those past incidents are pretty damn important information.
