Dang... see!? This is where TV is the superior advertising medium because all my encounters with "El Juego de las Llaves" come from podcast style advertising and let me tell you... all I knew is that the girl from RBD and Alejandra Guzman were there and I was always very confused... but being that they are both entertainment ppl I figured it was like a TBS style game show... from what podcast advertising does, "pantaya" sounded like a TBS style streaming service.

LMAOOO if this is what the marketing of the show is doing they need to fire everyone at the marketing team IMMEDIATELY because this is literally a full on "everyone-fucks-everyone" borderline pwp show. At least most of the first season was. The second season got more tame and boring. I think a lot of people (probably some prude execs) called them out on it and they got more selective with where they were going to go wild with their sex instead of just...every other scene. But it's literally a show revolving around a sex game not a tbs game show lololol.

This show did one of THE single most obnoxious things a show could ever do tho and I still laugh every time I think about it. It was one of those shows that deadass recasts/got rid of one of the leads between seasons, NEVER addressed it, and just like...hoped to god you didn't notice. I'm like........SIR................WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LAST BAD ACTOR YOU HAD?! WHAT DID YOU DO WITH HIM?! AT LEAST I WAS ALREADY FAMILIAR WITH THAT ONE. STRANGER DANGER.

Also, no. Pantaya is this fairly big Latin streamer. I'd say it's the biggest standalone Latin streamer we have. That's not saying a lot because they're no Netflix or Hulu but they're pumping out some stuff. Especially when they partner with people like Amazon for US/worldwide distribution on their platforms and can get bigger budgets. They also distributed Barbara's other shitty thing. The El Mesero movie. That's where a lot of Latino movies end up these days. It's for real like a 99 Cent Store Latin Netflix.

Wait, I thought "El Juego de las Llaves" was a game show! Since when do game shows have 3somes!? Or is this a Mexican innovation to the genre?

??? El Juego De Las Llaves is a super rated R Mexican half hour drama starring one of the loves of my life Maite Perroni. It's a Pantaya/Amazon production.

Is it good? Not really. But, again...Maite Perroni and very not PG show. I'm sold. Barbara joined on the last few episodes of the latest season. The last scene of the season finale is an orgy lol. And that's not even a spoiler because what matters is who is in the scene and that's, yeah. That show is...it tries so hard to be edgy. Honestly, sometimes it has done some really cool things for a Latin show but for the most part it's kind of cringe. Mostly it's the acting tho. If it had better acting I think the whole thing wouldn't be as painful to watch.

Anyway...as far as I know a new season hasn't dropped. I'm sure we would've seen Barbara promote it if it had because the way the season ended it seemed like they were setting her up to be a lead or at least a massive part of it.
