describe the perfect weekend.
“The perfect weekend?” The questioning tone indicated Jolie made sure to repeat what Ellie had posed to her, making sure she had heard everything clearly. It truly did depend on the weather circumstances and her particular mood for the weekend. Although in the fantasy world of Jolie’s, there was an abundance of this she wishes to experience. “To start off my perfect weekend, I would wake up bright and early in the morning, I’d love to go on a walk before the sunrises. Coffee cup in my hand as I enjoy the breeze cascading off from the ocean. The comfort of the waves crashing on shore giving me a soothing feeling for the rest of the day.” The image of this moment happening is something she soon wishes to experience. It’s a slight shame her sleeping schedule has been all over the place recently. Nonetheless, what her current mood was shouldn’t interrupt her perfect weekend. As the bridge of her nose crinkled, a soft sigh escaped her lips due to being consumed in a cavernous thought, thinking of what else she’d love to experience in this dream state. “Then after my walk, I’d go back home and lounge on the couch with a book in my hand, delicate music playing in the background, a scented candle on the table, as I get lost in the moment due to the writer’s ability to capture me in the book.” God, the thought of reading books made her wish this weekend could just happen already. It had been months, possibly even years, since Jolie sat down and took time to read without any external interruptions to break her focus. “Then, for dinner time, I’ll order from one of my favorite restaurants - Basilic, most likely. Drink. Eat. Enjoy the evening. Sit there for hours if I want to do so.” Humming happily as the idea of Basilic danced in her mind, having always found comfort and joy in the restaurant along with the aesthetics. Hands collapsing together, the mere image at the end of her perfect weekend soon came to an end with her following words with an content sigh, “Lastly, I’d probably just go home and repeat it again. Something minimal but enough to say that I spent it well and I got the chance to rest.”
