I probably had one of the best weekends of my life.
I went to a private school from kindergarten to eighth grade, and I'll admit, it was miserable. I liked being in a public high school because of the freedom and diversity. As for the education factor: having your own motivation and a parent/parents who pushes you are the most important factors in how much you learn and what you make of yourself. Schools definitely lack that vital inspiration for students who are intelligent but bored.
Freedom and diversity are less important to me than a good education honestly.
