Brooklyn artist Brian Adam Douglas, aka Elbow Toe, has spent the last decade building a global reputation for wheat pastes of his distinctive woodcuts, stencils, charcoal drawings, and collages. Launched in 2015 to spotlight the creativity of the Gainesville area, the 352walls project turned to Elbow Toe in 2016 to create a work for the north wall of now shuttered SW 1st St establishment Market Street Pub. Proving that good things come in small packages he spent four days using acrylic paint on an aluminum panel to create this urban masterpiece of his wife “transforming a public space into a stage for private moments.” @elbowtoe @352walls @streetartcities
