Let me tell you about Emily Wells. The first time I saw Ms. Wells I was at the Bowery Poetry Club for Amber Tamblyn's book release party. Emily came on stage and blew me away with by far the best cover of Biggie's "Juicy" I have ever heard. I knew I needed to see her perform again asap so the next night I headed to City Winery in Tribeca to catch her show where she played an amazing set with all original compositions. Trust, this girl it the definition of talent.
Wells, started playing violin when she was four and loops violin tracks, drum beats and her unique vocals to create a one woman symphony. She is seriously worth seeing live this video really does her no justice.
