Demigods x monster! 141 au

Because it would be funny. I love the fics of demigods being a bit more monster than initially lead on but it doesn’t really manifest til they either get to camp (a safe place) or hit puberty. Think about it! Zeus children who smell like ozone and seem permanently caught in a storm, eagle feathers growing in. Children of Athena with too big eyes and the ability to swivel their heads like an owl, owl down growing in. Children of Hephaestus who run incredibly hot, oil in their veins and metal for skin in some places. Their hearts ticks and their fingers whir. Children of Apollo who are hard to look at, who literally glow from the sun in their blood. Who sing like birds, and predict plagues. Children of Aphrodite whose appearance changes daily. Whose eyes never settle on a color and well maintained claws. Whose honeyed words can bind or break someone.

Now add in monster! 141. A one winged dragon, a harpy, a werewolf, and a wraith. Who see these children or adults presenting monster like features but humans look at them in confusion when it comes up in conversation.

A team who gets surprised when a bronze knife is pressed into their ribs a teenager because “I swear that’s a harpy.”

A task force who goes to investigate when manhattan goes completely dark. Only to find monster children in ancient battle armor dead, dying, or fighting for their lives against creatures not seen in centuries.

A task force that gets dragged into the fight with each demigod war. Who try to help the little monster children when the weight of the world is too much. Who reach out to allies and contacts because these are children who react like soldiers when faced with a threat.

Let’s makes this interesting. Storm takes the bullet meant for soap in modern warfare 3 (2023) from Makarov. The immediate reactions are Soap continues to disarm the bomb, while Price and Gaz defend. Ghost works his ass off the get storm stable and able to be moved. The group splits before Evac. Price and Gaz chase down Mr. Mackerel. Soap and Ghost haul storm to Evac. Price and Gaz are unsuccessful in capturing Makarov. The ride to the nearest hospital is absolutely fraught with emotions. Price is calling ahead for their arrival. Ghost is trying his damnedest to keep storm breathing. Soap and Gaz are trying to keep storm coherent. Storm dies once during that trip. That definitely sends a zing of panic through all of them. It's price who revives storm. Things don't settle after storm is out of danger and recovering. Too Much time to think. too much time to worry. Soap is the level headed one in this situation. Everyone forgets Gaz asked for gloves off and wasn’t horrified by the consequences that is John motherfucking Price. The Captain and Gaz are absolutely chomping at the bit to wreck house till they find and kill Makarov. Ghost backs Johnny, murder can come after their squad mate Younger sibling is not dying.

This leads to planning and sooo much digging. Price has some serious connections. Gaz is an absolute hound for information. They track every little scrap of information Makarov and the Konni group think they can hide. They have Laswell dig around too. Laswelll reaches out for information on Konni group and Makarov. Laswell earns an unexpected ally in the form of Rainbow. Yes, that Rainbow. The global anti terrorist origination that is basically one big joint task force. I think that little line either starts with Ash, Blackbeard, or Valkyrie. Who passes Laswell's request to rainbow in general. Rainbow decides to send what they have but they also alert the Spetsnaz. And the Spetsnaz of rainbow decide to help because A.) its home territory.. B.) Makarov is a pain in everyone's fucking sides.

eventually things are ready to bring into play. I very much think it's Kapkan or Glaz who drop Makarov. But they definitely notice this situation is personal for the SAS taskforce.

Hey, Storm! What went through your coma-addled brain after waking from the Jade Incident? :3

You take a deep breath. “Mostly confusion and worry. The last thing I saw was moose lunging towards me, after that its all mostly a blur til I woke up in the hospital.”

You sip at your water bottle as the interviewer waits. “I woke up after about a month, maybe two. A natural coma is what I told, from the shock of injury I’m assuming. Moose took awhile longer to wake. He took the burnt of whatever the fuck Jade had rigged up. They put him in a medically induced coma for it.”

You slouch a little. “I definitely worried a lot of people with that little incident. Ferret was there when I woke up.” You chuckle lightly. “Apparently Laswell had to set up a little rotating schedule of who could visit after the incident, after all there was still work to be done. People to save and all that jazz. They left so many well wishes. That was really nice of them. Hell even, Cap’n and his own left gifts. Wonder who twisted their arms for that?

You can practically hear price crunch his cigar from behind the camera. You were on better terms with the 141 these days, But even he couldn’t deny there was bitter gap between you and his task force. Some wounds don’t heal fast.

Storm getting really sick before a mission, laying on the bathroom tile two inches from the toilet kind of sick right before a mission. and either Ghost or Fen helping nurse them while the team is away. How Safe House Squad Six got their callsigns. Mainly Jake "Bes" O'neil, and Taylor "Fen" Cousland. We all know Merc is short for Mercedes cause man got choked for crashing his teacher's Mercedes.

Moose X Bes. On a honey Pot mission Bes gets to dress like the honey pot of an assassin he is. Im absolutely thinking corset vest in navy with rose gold jewelry and teal green accents to match his eyes. maybe based off a green peacock. I think bes gets moose prettied up too, not over the top of course. Bes is meant to be the eye catcher after all. But moose gets cleaned up. nails, bread, hair trimmed. Clean new suit. He def makes moose the more threatening one, but moose is his "Bodyguard" for the night. (i ship it for business purposes only. Bes is happily married to his equal honey pot of a medic, Merc.)

Azami. Yes, the rainbow six siege operator, wandering into the Kaiden district of Tokyo from The Secret World. Ya know, a quick romp through a horror filled, lifeless Tokyo district. Between the ghosts, Yokai, and inhabitants I'm sure she'll have a great time. It's not like an outside human being introduced to that area is ringing the dinner bell. She gets a flaming butter knife as a gift. and maybe some help. Nothing says like weekend break like wandering into a very strange apocalypse.

Doc, again everyone's favorite grumpy Frenchman from Rainbow Six Siege. I think doc took a page out of Harry's book when the whole ordeal with Night haven went down. Doc recruits his own PMC to fill in with Wolf-Guard. I think the way doc setups the deal as Doc gets access to the supplies and facilities for Wolf-Guard to pull from and The PMC gets to train with Wolf-Guard. Im thinking Doc works with Safe House Company (yes, my gaggle of dumbasses. no you can't stop me.)

"Go! Go! Go!" The team ran for the jeep and quickly piled inside.

"Storm! Step on it!" The jeep took off like a rocket. Price about damn near lost his head and hat to the backseat. Soap made an audible thump as the force put him on his ass. Ghost clutched on for dear life. Gaz gripped the seat under him in a desperate bid to not go flying.

Storm made harrowing fast turns, cut people off, and mostly made his way through the traffic like a bat out of hell.

By the end of the ride, Price stumbled out of that car and made a vow that Storm would only drive in absolute emergencies.

What is the pjo cod au about?

Hmm where to start, where to start? I have several crossovers between PJO and CoD.

There is Shadow company under shepherds permission decided to recruit kidnap a bunch of demigods to give themselves an edge. Including the seven. This does not go well for Graves. Mainly cause a good chunk of the shadows is made up of these demigods and The seven has definitely kept the spirit of hope alive in them. Grave's gets hunted like a dog for his transgressions and Percy get's the killing blow.

The second was 141 possibly stumbling into a demigod enclave. In this universe demigods have carved places for themselves outside of the two camps. The bakery run by children of Demeter and Deipneus who sell protection charms from the children of Hecate and Iris. Maybe Ghost at one point for one of these places or a whole block of them and now He has preferred knife maker that is a child of Hephaestus. And its just a casual intersection of demigods and 141.

The third is always a classic. The mist fails. Just utterly fails. And well there's certainly at interest in this odd place full of children that seem like battle hardened vets. So maybe Laswell is sent to investigate and 141 tags along as body guards.

the final one the demigods form a PMC, and just kinda encounter 141 from there.

I was wondering how they were recruited and—

100% the people that hired them just went along with whatever they wanted out of like instinctual self-preservation (“you want to join this military organization? Absolutely, please leave me alone now ”) and whenever reported to the higher ups, they were like, “you know what? It’s better for whatever that is to be in line of sight”

Ya know, I never really thought about that. Originally Them was to be a counterpart to Storm. Storm was meant to be the more human part of the eldritch pair. They was meant to be monster in human form. Let's get down to the brass tax.

Storm and They are military brats. They grew up around the military and observing it as they grew older. They weren't really recruited, so much as they were expected to follow in the footsteps of their parents. Being in the more southern parts of the Midwest probably didn't help either. The Midwest has a strange relationship with recruitment. The mindset is kinda if you don't know what to do with your life you can always join the military. It's makes recruitment a little easier. But being a military brat can also make it quite a bit harder to recruit as well. You, as a child and depending on the situation, now have first hand sight to how the military lifestyle can effect a person even after they leave it. Long thoughts, short both had an inkling of what they were getting into when they signed on the dotted line.

Their recruitment went rather smoothly. It really wasn't until a few years after basic that the strangeness of the pair began to really display itself. Both were new to covert ops and they had a track record of getting shit done lethally. Think of Ghost but notch down the lethal meter by like five and you'll land square on these two. That's what caught both Shepard's and Laswell's eyes. There were a lot of reports of them taking out targets without really using traditional force. One report of They was that a man was torn apart by shadows. Laswell thought it better to keep an eye on both so she moved them closer. They're both intelligence specialists.
