An old man for the “gargoyle” story. Muggi’s a crotchety old elder with a general dislike for the human race, which hasn’t ever failed him.

He doesn’t trust Erika and makes it very clear that her status as ‘champion’ is rocky and she needs to prove herself if she wants to stay alive. He pulls no punches with this seemingly impossible task.

Erika doesn’t like him and thinks he’s a bastard.
