How to knot an Eldredge Tie? | Gear Gent Advice
When a standard tie doesn’t quite cut it, the Eldredge tie is sure to step up your style for the occasion. A complex looking tie, the Eldredge equips a gentleman with an intellectual and stylistic approach.
STEP 1. THE PLACEMENT STEP
Before we start, it is important to ‘pop that collar’ and place the tie around your neck. This is the ideal time to adjust the wide end of the tie so it reaches the top of your waist line. Note that this style of tie works best with longer ties.
STEP 2. THE INTRODUCTORY WRAP
Take the small end and wrap it over and around the wide end towards the left.
STEP 3. THE FIRST HURDLE
Take the smaller end and loop under then over into the front pocket.
