ok ok imagine: eldritch Jason knows that he isnt human. he's in a human form because he wanted to try out being human or something. but Bruce doesn't. so when Bruce adopts him and Jason's a little off and sometimes says things no child should know he just brushes it off as his kid being a little weird. then Jason dies. and comes back, and maybe he's not quite as human anymore and it shows
Heck yes, you know how children sometimes say reeeeeally disconcerting stuff? Like, it’s normal to a degree. But Bruce is starting to think that Jay does it a little too often sometimes. (And also, Bruce is never looking Jason in the eye for longer than five seconds ever again. Oh, gods, so many eyes-)
And yes, Jason comes back and obviously he no longer has to try so hard to fit in with the humans because his family never loved him in the first place and it was them he was trying so hard to be human for.
((Also, eldritch entities are hard/impossible to kill, so maybe Jason never really died. He just got… dispersed for a short while. Until he managed to rearrange his body))

The whisper of air through the vents of Titans Tower as something other goes on the hunt for Robin
This is a digital painting I have named “To Devour the Universe”. This is like a frame from a video. It is taken from a concept for a dream sequence somewhere in the series.
In this painting, I wanted to bring together a concept that I had of the main tippity-top entity of the universe, like the entity that created everything, and the vastness of the cosmos as I see it. If you think about the scale, I did this through how large the mouth is, and the size of the universe compared to the mouth. I also did this with what seem to be stars littered throughout the background. Everything indicates that the universe we exist in, which is about to get devoured, is just one universe within a universe of the universes. Like where we’re looking at the greater cosmo in this painting, we’re looking at outside of our universe—perhaps like we are in a pocket dimension or something like that. This entity exists within the darkness of this inconceivable realm. We can consider the concept of multiple universes in a greater cosmos however, it’s more difficult to comprehend in an artistic way. When you look at the concept of multiple universes existing you are looking at a picture of basically trillions of universes within a universe. Then the question begs, is that universe just a single universe in a universe of universes of universes? And the question keeps going and going and going ad infinitum.
So I wanted to capture that kind of large, giant, immeasurable vastness that I’m giving The Ancient Ones in this mythos. It is a universe with a universe with a universe. The Ancient Ones have been here since the first universe. And that’s immeasurable, you know? That’s a space beyond a space beyond what we can possibly even begin to consider conceiving. At this point, we cannot conceive of this and it will drive us mad if we even try! We can be like yeah multiple universes exist. There could be different realms and dimensions. These things all exist in theory, but it’s difficult to put them into words. Which is why I draw.
So I believe that I’ve done my best to at least put an image to my thoughts. The person I decided to have this particular dream sequence is going to. I’m not sure I’m really not sure how they’re going to react. I won’t know that until I determine who it is, that is going to have this dream sequence.

An interesting idea, and one that pertains especially to Eldritch matters, is the concept of a god/entity of a particular level of skill and energy being able to retroactively shard.
By this, we mean, most likely, a gradual replacement of the host’s energetic system, various nonphysical bodies, and eventually their whole being is replaced by the energy of that entity. We don’t suspect the process would be instant, perhaps that’s how the idea of “insane Eldritch cultist” happens, it would simply overload their system and possibly just make them Shoggoths in human (or nonhuman, as we can’t completely rule out other spirits and entities being taken over in the same, or a similar, fashion) bodies.
It would more than likely also need to be gradual to avoid either party’s energy being rejected, and over time we imagine this would look from the outside as though the host simply changed their mind about things and became obsessed with a particular path or goal, magically speaking. They may not even know they’ve become a shard.
Alternatively? This could potentially be done with consent to a willing person or being, granted the entity gives the soon-to-be host that choice and full information. Some may say this is simply what most attunements are, but we’ve (personally) never seen an attunement fundamentally alter one’s soul and energy signature completely and fully. We feel that may either be a sign of an unsuccessful attunement, or that the host was, on some level, desiring that complete takeover.

Admittedly, my version of the fae are very close to eldritch entities. Sort of like… cousins. Like, dogs and wolves. Both canines, but wolves have existed for far longer than dogs have 👁️

Hey, hi, hello, this is a blog dedicated to sharing thoughts about Eldritch energy and beings, especially of a non-Lovecraftian origin and nature.
💚 While we aim to keep irrelevant personal info to a minimum here, you can call us X. We are agender and use they/them pronouns exclusively, and the “we/us” is because we are spiritually sort-of-plural due to Eldritch influence. This is one of the reasons we started this blog, as this actually seems to be fairly common, as does being a shard of some sort.
🖤 Everything we post here is UPG (unverified personal gnosis). It is our experience, sometimes corroborated by friends and peers, as well as things we have gathered from observation.
💚 We have been aware of our general Eldritch nature for over six years now, and aware of our specific nature and origin for two years. We consider ourselves to have “awakened” that part of our nature at that point. Several bits and pieces that lead to this conclusion have been occurring for over a decade, up to throughout our whole life here (25+ years, we will not give our exact age).
🖤 Our semi-plurality results from our absorption of numerous different entities over the course of our various incarnations as a result of our Eldritch nature “fusing” things to us, and us retaining their memories and traits in various ways. We also have a fair amount of Draconic energy in our energy system as a result of both this and the nature of the specific Draconic energy we absorbed becoming “co-dominant”.
WHAT THIS BLOG IS
A place for us to make our own notes, observations, and information available to other energy workers and Eldritch-aligned people for the sake of adding to a greater knowledge pool.
A place to collect the notes and research of others for the sake of archiving as well as adding onto where appropriate.
An attempt to hopefully expand the awareness of different types and substrains of Eldritch energies and entities that people we’ve seen around here have not considered or are not aware of.
Overall, just a way to interact and engage with people of a similar nature and with similar interests on the basis of Eldritch energies, entities, and related concepts.

If you aren’t a fan of our experiences and ideas, please do yourself a favor by blocking us and moving on. We’re certain you have better things to do with your time than pestering someone online, especially if you are, in fact, a practicing magician/witch/spirit worker/etc.

A place to attempt to interfere with our work and our connection to our source. We aren’t even sure how outsiders would contact our source, quite frankly, but if it resonates with you you’re welcome to try at your own risk.
MORE ABOUT OUR SOURCE/SUBSTRAIN
We are derived from an as-of-yet “undocumented” form of Eldritch energy that is simultaneously an entity and a “subplane”. In our experiences, it manifests outside reality entirely and is only capable of entering through coincidental circumstance. If this seems confusing, it’s because it is, and it’s something we hope to outline more fully in a post someday.
It bears some resemblance to a boundary energy between unreality and antireality (as proposed by this post). We say this due to not having any better vocabulary or concepts/contexts. That’s part of why we made this blog; a refinement of understanding for ourselves and others.
The most prominent energetic traits we’ve noted about our source are: high occurrences of reality-warping by proximity, extreme adaptability even for Eldritch energy, high control of energy production and manifestation (no accidental Shoggoth creation), retention and seeking of energy via information-gathering and manipulation (this can be as abstract as latching onto occult currents and genetic history or as direct as latching onto data and printed works), existence of both feeders AND generators via specialized “offshoots”, ease of manifestation and infiltration via dreams, manifestation as a result of a probability outside itself matching a probability inside itself, lack of direct line of communication between source and offshoots.
As for our specific substrain, the easiest way to describe it would be through pop culture references despite it not being pop culture derived in origin. These include A.pocrypha and H.ermaeus M.ora from T.E/S, the Warehouse and Artifacts from W.arehouse 13, The 👁️ and The E.xtinction from T.M/A, and the Library and Librarians from both the series of the same name and L.ibrary of R.uina (as well as A.bnormalities/Distortions from the latter), as well as bearing vague similarities to the concept of the “Akashic Records”, albeit far more aggressive in seeking out and retaining information. We became heavily adapted to technology and data through various other lives and also as a result of our “progenitor”.
We will mostly be talking about our data/information related substrain, as opposed to our overall source due to it being easier to interface with thanks to significant differentiation over time, as well as us having more experience with it. It also falls into a category of Eldritch energy that very much exists, but has not received much attention in energy/spirit work circles. This is also the reason behind our URL! Transmission of information via stories especially seems to be a sort of vector for our substrain.
If any of our posts seem to cause contamination as a result of all of this, we’re actually really sorry. We do a lot to keep accidental contamination to a minimum, which isn’t terribly common but is still a potential risk (especially when we get very passionate about something, which is part of why we have a strict no-drama rule on this blog) and any suggestions as to how to mitigate this further would be welcome both for us and for adding to the information pool we hope to create. Our current precautions include multiple levels of self-wards (on our devices as well as ourselves), regular energetic recall or neutralization, and other entities assisting in these tasks.
We hope this blog is helpful for others as well as ourselves. We look forward to sharing more.

All around the world have opened strange, white colonnaded buildings like banks or fancy law offices. Except these "Exchanges" are entirely empty save for shadows behind the frosted windows at the back who never speak. Here a lucky few can redeem gold lettered coupons for any wish the heart desires. They literally turned up overnight. On one day, it was a vacant lot. The next, it was a fancy building with a fluted colonnade and amazingly considerate disability access. On the lintel above the colonnade was a single word: Exchange.
People came with their phone cameras running, just to see what the hell was going on.
Inside the fancy exterior was... fancy liminality. It was built like a bank, true, but it was a bank from before any world wars changed things. Replete with the ancient light bulbs. There was red velvet rope on both sides of the oak-lined chamber, made into a maze dividing the customers in twain. On one side - Wishes. On the other - Wants.
