nothing brings me more joy than when people ask for photo with me. yes, you can say my cosplay it cool, but being asked for photos is where the true dopamine spike is at <3 of course, i say this when i'm also scared as shit to ask for photos, so i also understand why people might not ask. but when people do ask it's fucking amazing

i love thunderbolts because it had some AMAZING acting

do you understand HOW HARD it is to do emotional acting in such a subtle but loud way? THE COMPOSURE. THE EYE MOVEMENT. THE EYEBROWS AND MOUTH POSTURE. THE SHAKY MOVEMENT. fucking amazing acting. as an actor i can’t help but be jealous at how PERFECTLY lewis pullman made “i’m fine (lie)” distinct from “i’m fine (truth in the moment)” with so little. same with how yelena responds to bob. it’s SO subtle, but you can tell that her response is different depending on whether or not bob is lying or not. the difference between the “oh.” and the “alright then.” expression is so subtle. she stares blankly and frowns slightly at the lie (her expression is more helpless to help + pity), then when bob is telling the present truth her expression is more accepting, even if doubtful. there’s not pitty or helplessness. she knows she can help now.
