It was recently reported that the FBI and DNI Secretary Tulsi Gabbard swarmed an election field office in Georgia, purportedly to investigate the 2020 election in which Joe Biden defeated the incumbent Trump. Trump has long held that he won that election, which he says was "rigged" against him despite him being president at the time, so there has been a lot of speculation about what he might hope to accomplish with that raid.

According to ex-prosecutor Joyce Vance, "the Fulton County search warrant and its implications for the 2026 and future elections is the most important news out there right now and not getting the coverage it merits."

उपराष्ट्रपति जगदीप धनखड़ ने सोमवार देर रात अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया। उन्होंने राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू को लिखे पत्र में कहा है कि वे अस्वस्थ हैं और स्वास्थ्य संबंधी कारणों की वजह से इस्तीफा दे रहे हैं। संविधान के अनुच्छेद 67 (ए) के तहत उन्होंने अपना इस्तीफा राष्ट्रपति को भेजा है।

संविधान का यह अनुच्छेद, उपराष्ट्रपति के इस्तीफे से संबंधित है। यह अनुच्छेद कहता है, 'उपराष्ट्रपति, राष्ट्रपति को संबोधित अपने हस्ताक्षर सहित लेख द्वारा अपना पद त्याग सकेगा।' इस्तीफा के बाद अब सबसे बड़ा सवाल यह है कि नए उपराष्ट्रपति का चुनाव कैसे होता है।

उपराष्ट्रपति ने राष्ट्रपति को उनके सहयोग और सौहार्दपूर्ण संबंधों के लिए धन्यवाद कहा है। उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री और मंत्रिपरिषद को भी शुक्रिया कहा है। उन्होंने लिखा, 'मुझे संसद के सभी माननीय सदस्यों से जो स्नेह, विश्वास और सम्मान मिला, वह जीवनभर मेरे दिल में बना रहेगा।'
