I’m not getting into who they’d vote for but I can see Robert tucked up on the sofa in Mill, coffee and snacks in hand avidly watching the election results, while Aaron just sits and watches him.

I'm going to sound like and old woman here but this is the problem with the social media/tumblr generation. Someone says something a little ignorant with no indication of ill intent and they are labelled prejudiced, bigoted, phobic and the social justice army goes on the attack and what happens when people feel attacked? Their defenses come up, their mind closes down and an opportunity to educate has been lost. Why do people do it? How hard is it to come at someone politely and open a dialogue? What do you actually think you are going to change or achieve by attacking? I mean look at where we are as a country, how do we change it for the better when people don't want to listen or talk?

I hate how on the ballots I don’t know half of the names for the local elections. I know some of that is on me, but I just wish I knew more about them because every time I look them up there's never a straight answer and they’re important too
