I'm confused. How did Hendrew know they got a security gate? Is he stalking them, too? What difference does it make to him? Did he request a security gate around Frogmore Cottage and was told no? This has nothing to do with his security request and/or RAVEC, so how is it some type of double standard?? I just fail to understand how Pippa getting a security gate around her home has anything whatsoever to do with Hendrew and all his whining about him needing 24/7/365 security on demand whenever he's in the UK. He lives in California. Has he not noticed how many celebrities have a security gate around their home? The gate issue was in the news earlier because it is part of a walking path and some of the public weren’t happy about it. The issue has nothing to do with RAVEC, armed security or Harry Mountbatten-Windsor. But I guess Harry, being both an opportunist and a person of middling intellect, took the chance to throw his name and his issue into the mix. Anything to get his public appeal into the press

Someone thinking they need security is the only similarity in the two situations. James said there was need, so he arranged to install a gate to provide for his family’s safety. He *paid for it himself* and that is the huge difference that whomever wrote this story fails to add. Harry wants something so everyone in the UK should pay for it. James saw a security need & got permission to increase security he paid for. How is Harry so dense he doesn’t see the difference?

Had they stayed, and she realized that the security follows the blood royals not the spouses, she would have been incandescent with rage.
I imagine that if the Grifters could afford to, they could buy a house in the U.K. and install whatever privacy and security measures they'd like, But that's not good enough because TW wants the same level of protection the Wales get because she's convinced she's just as important.
