The very first tracks I created while learning the DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) are actually electro-ambient music. In this EP I tried to get back to where I started and updated/mixed my previous works.

New Music from S.A.R & Ulrich Schnauss - Hypnotic Gestures EP - S.A.R Music 001

After working on a catalogue of productions, Sinius & Atmospheric Research decided to set up 'S.A.R Music'. A musical imprint formed for all Sinius & Atmospheric Research music and special guest collaborations. SARMUSIC001 features the beautiful sounds of critically acclaimed electronic music artist Ulrich Schnauss. In addition to his well known classic albums like  Far Away Trains Passing By and A Strangely Isolated Place. Ulrich has also officially remixed for the likes of Pet Shop Boys, Coldplay, Sia, Justin Robertson and many more. It is a great pleasure to feature such talent on SARMUSIC001.

“Hypnotic Gestures” feat. Ulrich Schnauss A moody and mysterious build up, with a slightly melancholy feel. Hypnotic Gestures will make you reminiscent of some early Warp Records releases. Fused with a contemporary, minimal but punchy drum beat. The real essence of this track here is the space between the percussion and echoed hits.  Giving this an overall futuristic feel. The driving bassline carries the pulse of the track right to the end, with Ulrich's signature keys and S.A.R's nature ecology soundscapes.

“Sailing Through” feat. Ulrich Schnauss With an introduction like a classic GLR track from the mid-90's. This track bursts into fruition with heavy low end 808 kicks and rhythmical driving subs, making this track complementary to the minimal drum 'n' bass style. The real central focus is the uplifting ambient drones coasting you along, and the once again signature keys from Ulrich Schnauss. Both tracks fade out into spaced out drones and field recording sound effects, leaving you in suspense and eagerly awaiting for more ambience.

Both of these tracks are forthcoming on the debut LP from S.A.R Currently in production, the Album will also feature a special guest appearance from Mercury Music Prize Winner, Talvin Singh (OBE / Island Records).
