The New Game Plus We Play, a Boku no Hero Fanfiction. Nothing I'll ever write about my own work will ever give it the same justice as this one Bookmark does:

Time Travel/Time Loop fic with Videogame Quirk.

Izuku becomes the Universe's Chew Toy.

On a completely unrelated note, am I the only one who thinks it would have been incredibly brave and subversive from the author to kill off M*neta at the USJ? Like, not even for "Worst character in the history of anime" reasons, it would be incredibly subversive for an author to show us the quintessential molester character, one that is in every shounen manga out there, except he dies the second the stakes get a little bit higher. Like, shock value and all. This of course opens the door for PTSD counseling of course, another way the author could try to be different from other stories in the genre, to have his characters handle Grief in a healthy way via therapy and shit.

(This could, like, also work well with Aizawa dying, like a character you know at first glance would be important to the plot except he dies, but that would be a bit too much Ned Stark Cop Out For my tastes).

Literally, anyone could write a better story than what Horikoshi has made if they have two braincells to rub together.

Not sure what happens in the comics, but I'm honestly glad they played the Guardians of the Globe 100% straight in Invincible. Like, not "straight" in the sense of Straight of course Warrior Woman still had a girlfriend after all and they both deserved better, more like... Like they were actual comic book heroes you know?

In a Comic Book/Cartoon Series that fashions itself as a critique/satire/subversion of the superhero genre, they didn't use cheap tricks to make them unlikable bastards or r*pists like other serieses would, or make them almost caricatural goody two shoes losers like Lobo did in his solo series with his one off superhero enemies, they are an actual team with relatively normal superheroes (if derivative of the JLA of course) doing their best to save lives. Hell, One of their first scenes is literally Darkwing sacrificing himself so he could save ONE civilian from being crushed to death, and yeah they get destroyed at the end but at least they were established as good guys first, and I think that's amazing.

Yeah I’m glad they played them straight too. Makes there death more shocking.

This reminds me of the first time I ever saw the "He is A C T U A L Y Bullying him in order to stop Izuku from dying as a Quirkless Hero" thing in fanfiction. It was a Fem!Bakugou fic and was done with the specific purpose of having Fem!Bakugou and Izuku bang at a later date in a Izuku X Harem setting. In fact, it was in the top 5 of most Kudoed fics on AO3 in the Izuku/Everyone tag.

I imagine the Dragons have, like, a Skeksis like conception of mortality since they don't really die they just slumber, so they are terrifyed of dragonborns since they don't actually know what happens to them when their soul gets vored, like... do we disappear? Is our identity, out greatest aspect and badge of our immortality, absorbed into another being? The ultimate domination? Or do they go back to Akatosh? Numinex resigning himself to this in captivity, and losing his name, is probably why-
