When the Beeping Gets Loud
It all began with a simple B-12 shot. No drama. No concern. Until the nurse checked Carl’s vitals and calmly said words that are never calming:“Your heart rate is 33.” Thirty-three. That’s not a typo. Within minutes, he was gently — but firmly — sent straight to the emergency room. Wires. Monitors. IVs. Machines doing what machines do best — beeping with authority. After everything was hooked…

failure
Today was a failure I mean the 24 hours- I know I shouldn’t -stayed up all night to study for an exam which I failed. The retake will be beyond my holiday which - from this perspective- won’t be a real holiday. That’s okay... I can handle this too, I just wanted a couple of days without any obligation... I mean this is the freaking hot summer when you should rest a bit.
I couldn’t get in touch with my professor to discuss what am I going to do this summer at the lab... again... I really admire him and want to learn from him but he is just not where he should be and I am panicking because my scientific development is lean on him.
My rats are at the lab not behaving well enough ro implante the electrodes...My lab fellow won’t help just criticize me.
I need to work to have my money to live and this all should be okay but not today.
Today was a teacher not my best friend but to be honest I did not really have a best friend day a long time ago I was/am just struggling with the whole exam season and am fucking tired. And if I want some help from those whom can easily help my situation just won’t do anything - except my dorm mates whom I am really thankful for were here for me today.
I need to sleep but I can’t because of this all. Yeah I should just accept it all happened and go for the next but I can not be always so tough.
I am trying my best here I really want to do all of this but how comes there are just obstacles everywhere I go?

After 5 Years A-Fib Free, Terry Shares “I Wish I Had Seen an EP Sooner Than I Did”
For over 15 years Terry Traver, Thousand Oaks, CA, suffered with A-Fib. At first, he’d have a 15-hour episode every three months or so. Over the years, though, his A-Fib progressed to persistent and severe to the point of being unable to work.
Sadly, during this time, he was never referred to a cardiologist (and certainly not to cardiac Electrophysiologist). Luckily, a friend put him in touch…
