So I'm currently sitting in the waiting room a cardiologist office (my dad has an appointment and I tagged along) and I can't stop cackling over the fact that everyone coming in for an appointment is in their late 70s or early 80s, give or take

I’ve been having weird chest discomfort for the last two days so I gave in and called. I really hate it here.

The main reason I hadn’t called my referral in yet? Money, I knew it was going to be expensive, I just underestimated how expensive.

Sometimes it feels like the healthcare system just wants poor people to die- and that’s not even a big conspiracy because it happens daily.
