Lost in the city
In short, he was lost.
He didn't remember how he got there. In fact, the last thing he remembered was that he was in his garden. He was in his garden weeding out unwanted well, weeds, from around the lavender, and trimming back the plants. He could see it, he could feel it. But now...
His wings were gone. Why were his wings gone? And he couldn't feel the aura's around him. It sent him into a whirl, a never-ending, anxious panic.
How did he get into the city? Where was he? Why was he around so many humans? Why didn't he have his wings? If he didn't have his wings.... how would he get home?
Out of fear, Francis pressed himself back against the buildings he stood against. He wished he could be invisible, but he saw the strange glances that the humans gave him, he saw the judgement in there eyes. This only sent him into a worse panic.
He had to go, he had to find a way home. Quickly he turned and ran, dodging around the people nervously and trying to just go. Get away from the people, the strange looks of confusion. He needed to find somewhere he knew... maybe that park he sometimes visited? But where was he? Could he get to there from where he was?
Distracted by his panic and these thoughts, he wasn't watching where he was going. This caused him to run right into someone. Looking up nervousy, he bit his lip, shaking as he tried to get up from the ground.
" I-I'm so sorry. I... I..."
