BULAKLAK.
Bulaklak ang binitiwan mong mga salita at kami ang mga kulisap na tumatangkilik - sa tinataglay nitong ganda't alindog; sa amoy at halimuyak nitong handog.
Sukdulan na ang pagkabukadkad at patuloy naming nililigiran, talulot nitong kaylapad. Sinisipsip hanggang sa ang lagdo ay masaid ng bulaklak na umusbong sa iyo mismong bibig.
Makulay. Magarbo. Kakaiba. Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng ganito! Akin na nga at mapitas, maipagpahili sa tropa kong ungas.
Ngunit teka! Parang namumutla ang makulay na bulaklak ay kumukupas bigla. Natuyot. Napigtas. Talulot nito'y unti-unting nanlagas. Nalaglag sa daan. Naapakan. Bulaklak na salita'y tuluyan mo ngang binitiwan.
Kasabay ng pagkalanta ng salita mong kayganda ay pagkamatay rin ng aming kakarampot na pag-asa. Tunay nga na ang damo'y nalalanta at kumukupas rin naman ang mga bulaklak...
