I can be the stone that provides footing across the river’s current. I can be the shield that provides safety from whispers of insecurity. I won’t remain unflinching if you don’t stand by me the same.

I can be the hearth that warms you in winter. I can be the hope showing you a brighter tomorrow. I can’t be your everything, if you don’t give me a spark.

I can be the bubbles popping on your forehead when you go out and play. I can be the bath where you wash off the dirt of the day. I won’t be the shower drain you forget to clean.
