One sidequest I really like in Z-A is the one where you have to lend someone a Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour to make a special kind of tea. And he does it and calls it Pantrio tea.
I know a lot of people don't like the elemental monkeys but I actually kind of like them in a weird way. They were originally conceived in BW for the Striaton Gym and Cilan, Chili, and Cress, since aside from the gameplay standpoint of that Gym being a type matchup tutorial, Striaton Gym is a restaurant/cafe and the triplets are waiters/butlers. The designers expressly designed the monkeys with the idea that they're monkeys who can cook: they have hands that look like cooking mittens and they're dexterous monkeys. And they fit the Grass/Fire/Water type trio in a way that complements the cooking process: Pansage prepares the vegetables, Pansear controls the strength of the cooking flame, and Panpour prepares the water for the cooking. That's actually kind of neat.
XY had the monkeys in Kalos and they're very frequently in Lumiose City's restaurants for Triple/Rotation battles especially, which was a nice detail, but Z-A having this sidequest was cool because it leaned into that. Pantrio tea is obviously brewed using Pansage leaves, while Pansear is responsible for the flame to brew the tea, and Panpour is responsible for the water that is the other important component to a delicious tea. It's a really neat combination in a vacuum for tea making, but it leans into what the designers were going for with them in a neat way.
Forcibly made my friend a Pokémon OC and now they’re best friends forever and ever 😍💚❤️
Trying to sneak them to the ZA pokedex
A bit of a continuation?

it was before the DLC, knew Maushold wasn't there :(
But a Maushold could be a Tandemaus with their babies Toxel and Capsakid :)
🙊🙉🙈
