Gon hadn’t wanted to go. Art exhibits weren’t his thing. Maybe if the paintings were nen-enhanced and attacked or something.. that would be cool. But that was mostly likely not the case. Palm Siberia had convinced him to go with her, saying that it would look good for him to be there, show his face once in a while instead of “hiding in the woods” as she had called it. Show his face to who? For what? The Association knew he was an active Pro Hunter again.. big deal. He certainly didn’t need to go to art exhibit openings with fancy hors d'oeuvres, and tuxedos and stuff. Gon had a few drinks shortly after arriving. They were free and he was bored. When Palm texted him that something “came up”, he had another few drinks. The abstract paintings were actually starting to look better now. He nearly collided with a woman after he’d turned quickly to visit the mini bar again.
“HEY! Runa!!!!!”
Map X Trap
Gon’s mouth fell open. This was obviously some kind of cache. Dust lay thick over everything and his keen sense of smell confirmed it. No one had been in this room for a decade or more. It was a small and dark little room, quite hidden in the architecture. He wouldn’t have found it if he hadn’t accidentally tripped and put a hole through the wall.
The Hunter’s first thought was, ‘I’ve got to tell Runa.’ In stacks everywhere and all over the walls were maps. He fumbled for his phone and dialed. @elementalistruna

“I’ve never been on a boat before.” Yuri mused aloud. Curiosity was evident in his tone as he stared out at the water, but the boy was noticeably hesitant about moving closer to the railings of the boat. “I wonder how deep the water is...”

Runa felt quite short for a split second when she held up the few playing cards to him. She’d seen the ace and jack of spades tumble down to the ground and scooped them up before they got lost to the wind.
“No problem, a deck of cards isn’t any good if you’re missing some.” She smiled.
With a sly smile spreading across his lips, he extended his arm to her and held out his hand. He wasn’t sure if she was simply naive to approach him, or if she just didn’t know who he was. Either way, he had already attached some of his gum on her while he put on the charade of being confused by dropping his cards.
“I do need them for my tricks~” He wondered if the comment would clue her in on who he was.

“Gain!” Gon held his hand out and waited. And waited. “Haa? Gain!!” Still no miniature dinosaur. “Ehh?” Gon narrowed his eyes and examined his card. He’d swapped it with someone for another card earlier that day. Gon had been collecting all the little dinosaurs and he was sure this one would be a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The card was real, his Paladin’s Necklace assured it.
“Strange..” He muttered to himself. That was the third glitch he’d encountered that day. Perhaps it was best to exit and maybe mention it to Elena.
“Book.” He removed a spell card and held it up. “Leave!”
Nothing happened.
