30 YEARS OF POKEMON!
It's a goddamn miracle. Superfloxes actually finished an important milestone piece ON TIME for once! But if you thought I was going to miss out on the 30th anniversary of Pokémon, well, you'd normally be right. But not this time!
For this drawing, I wanted to honour all the little guys who are often forgotten or despised by the fanbase and pop culture in general. I'm talking 'Mons like Qwilfish, Garbodor, Silicobra, Silcoon and Cascoon... Because it's not all about Pokémon like Lucario or Greninja. The little guys are just as important as the big guys, and every single one of them has a fan out there. If I'm done my job right, there might be a Pokemon there that YOU don't recognise.
Of course, I recognise them all. Because a, I drew it, and b, I'm autistic and Pokémon happens to be one of my interests. Which means I've become a walking Bulbapedia.
(And yes, the Crawbrawler is shiny. It was a 'spir of the moment' thing which I did because I thought it was funny, since it's so small on the picture and hardly anyone thinks about it outside of "keeps ambushing me when I try to get berries".)
